What's included in the Office, Visio and Project 2021 bundle?
You get three separate licences, each with its own 25-character product key. Each key activates its own product on one PC, and Visio and Project run on their own: they don't need Office to be installed.

Office 2021 is the last Office release with Publisher, which Microsoft is retiring: Publisher support ends in October 2026.
What do Visio Professional and Project Professional add over the Standard editions?
The Professional editions add the advanced diagram types, data links and team features that Standard leaves out. Both apps in this bundle are Professional, so you get the full set.

In our experience, data linking is what most often decides it for Visio: an org chart or network map that updates from Excel saves a lot of manual edits.
How long are Office, Visio and Project 2021 supported?
Microsoft ends support for Office, Visio and Project 2021 on 13 October 2026. After that the apps keep working, but they no longer receive security updates. If you need support beyond 2026, the 2024 versions of these bundles are supported until October 2029. Microsoft lists the dates in its list of products reaching end of support in 2026.
What are the system requirements for this bundle?
All three apps share the same requirements: a Windows PC with a 1.1 GHz dual-core processor, 4 GB of RAM and about 4 GB of disk space per app. Install all three in the same 32-bit or 64-bit version.

In what order should I install Office, Visio and Project?
Install Office first, then Visio, then Project, and use the same 32-bit or 64-bit version for all three. Activate each app with its own key as you go.
- Remove older Office, Visio or Project versions and any Microsoft 365 trial under Settings → Apps.
- Install Office 2021 Professional with the link in your order email, open Word and enter the Office key.
- Install Visio Professional 2021, open it and enter the Visio key.
- Install Project Professional 2021, open it and enter the Project key.
- In each app, check that File → Account shows "Product Activated".
The error we see most often is mixing 32-bit and 64-bit: Microsoft doesn't allow 32-bit Visio or Project next to 64-bit Office, so setup stops. Pick one (64-bit suits most PCs) and use it for every app; Microsoft explains the rules in its guide to installing Office, Visio and Project on the same PC.
Frequently asked questions
What happens to the 2021 apps after October 2026?
They keep working. After 13 October 2026 Microsoft no longer releases security updates for Office, Visio and Project 2021, so files still open and save, but new vulnerabilities are not fixed. The 2024 versions are supported until October 2029.
Do I need Office to run Visio or Project?
No. Visio and Project are standalone apps with their own keys, so they work without Office. When all three are on one PC, as with this bundle, install them in the same 32-bit or 64-bit version to avoid setup errors.
Can I install Visio or Project on a different PC from Office?
Yes. Each key is a separate licence for one PC, so you can put Project on a project manager's laptop and Visio on a designer's desktop, for example. Each key still activates only one computer, so plan which PC gets which app.
Can Visio Professional link diagrams to Excel data?
Yes. Visio Professional can link shapes to data from sources such as Excel, so a diagram updates when the data changes. Visio Standard doesn't include data linking, which is one of the main reasons people choose Professional.
