Which apps are included in Office 2019 Professional Plus?

Office 2019 Professional Plus includes seven desktop apps: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Access and Publisher. It's the most complete Office 2019 edition for Windows. Microsoft has announced that Publisher will no longer be supported after October 2026, so plan ahead if you rely on it.

What's the difference between Office 2019 Standard and Professional Plus?

The only app difference is Access: Professional Plus includes it and Standard doesn't. If you build or use Access databases, or simply want the full set, Professional Plus is the edition to choose. Both Office 2019 editions include Publisher.

A question we often get is whether Standard can open Access files. It can't: .accdb databases need Access, which only Professional Plus includes.

How does the 2-key pack work?

You get 2 separate 25-character product keys, and each key activates Office 2019 Professional Plus on one Windows PC. You don't have to activate them all at once: an unused key can wait for a computer you set up later.

Install Office on each computer and enter a different key on each one. A key that has already activated one PC won't activate a second, so it helps to note which key went to which computer.

A pack suits a household with several PCs or a small office that wants the same Office version everywhere. Using one version on every machine makes file sharing and day-to-day support simpler.

Is Office 2019 still supported by Microsoft?

No. Office 2019 reached end of support on 14 October 2025. Since then, Microsoft no longer releases security updates or bug fixes for it. The apps keep working, but if you need a supported version, choose Office 2024, which is supported until 9 October 2029.

Office 2019 still suits buyers who need to match an existing setup, for example an office where every PC runs the same version. For a new installation, Office 2024 gives you the longest remaining support period.

What are the system requirements for Office 2019 Professional Plus?

You need a Windows 11 or Windows 10 PC with a 1.6 GHz dual-core processor, 4 GB of RAM (2 GB for 32-bit Office) and about 4 GB of free disk space. Office 2019 Professional Plus doesn't run on macOS.

How do I install and activate Office 2019 Professional Plus?

Each PC is set up the same way: install Office from the link in your email, then enter one of your 2 keys. Use a different key on every computer.

1. On the first PC, uninstall any older Office or Microsoft 365 version from Settings → Apps.
2. Download and install Office 2019 Professional Plus using the link in your order email.
3. Open Word or Excel and enter the first key from your email when asked.
4. Check File → Account shows "Product Activated".
5. Repeat these steps on each of the other PCs, using the next unused key each time.

A common mistake with packs is entering a key that was already used on another PC, which makes activation fail. Mark each key as used as soon as it activates, and you will always know which ones are still free.

Can I use one key on two computers?
